Real Time Campaign is making a difference

Eddie Attends Frontier Days Rodeo

As the Real Time Campaign picks up steam, Eddie takes a day off and attends the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo.

Over this past Weekend I ran into Eddie at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. Eddie was taking a couple of days off from what has been a very hectic schedule.

A couple of weeks ago, I did a presentation/workshop at the Iowa Expo 2008. The focus of the workshop was to review and evaluate the relevance and/or success of the newer technologies and business processes. We discussed, blogs, Wiki’s, Social Networking, Chat and yes – Real Time. When I polled the audience I was presently surprised to find that 60 of the 62 agencies where using some aspect of Real Time processing. During the discussion, it was clear that Real Time was having a significant and positive impact on the efficiency of the agencies. The only frustration was the more carriers were not doing more Real Time.

It is my belief that Real Time is reaching critical mass. For someone who has watched the industry struggle with SEMCI for the past 22-23 years, it is exciting to see the success of Real Time. Yes, there is still much that needs to be accomplished. Commercial Download and more widespread Real Time rating have a long way to go. But for once we have a technology infrastructure that can support the Real Time vision. For more information click here. Real Time
