Interesting Concept

A few weeks ago, I ran across a very interesting concept and set of web 2.0 tools – DialedIn. DialedIn provides a set of tools that enable users to create websites, mobile websites, rich emails, text messages and widgets through what is basically a single comprehensive process using drag & drop simplicity.

With the first generation of the Web, most agencies wanting a on-line presence had to depend on professionals to design and build their website. That is changing and I think it makes great sense for vendors to provide end users with tools that enable them to take control and create their own web presence.

Another Web trend taking place is the use of unique websites for specific events, products, campaigns, etc. For example, applications such as DialedIn could provide a relatively easy way for an agent to set up a Website, and create an email and/or text message campaign for a specialty program they want to promote.

I set up my own demo account and found the application straight forward and easy to use. However, I think many users will still struggle with the creative end of the process. Anticipating this, DialedIn does offer creative services.

If the concept of a comprehensive marketing process like this sounds intriguing – check it out.
