Eddie attends the Midwest Tech Confernece – Has time for some golf

Thanks to Real Time, Eddie’s agency is now much more efficient and Eddie has time to play more golf.

Yet, attending the Midwest Tech Conference was not all play for Eddie. He also found time to visit with the many exhibitors and attend several sessions.

According to Jeff Yates, “The main trust of the conference was to focus on how agents using Real Time, Download, and strategies to replace paper with electronic information are getting time back for their employees, so that their employees can be more pro-active in reaching out to clients and in cross-selling.”

Cal Durland and Peter van Aartrijk discussed AUGIE’s new tool “Real Time Makes Real $$$$” which is designed to help agencies make this staff transition to a consultative sales organization.”

At the front end of the conference, ACORD held its first Regional Carrier Session designed to encourage more regional carriers to implement Real Time, Download for both personal and commercial lines, and the ACORD standards.  The meeting was highly successful in drawing several regional carriers.  Real Time will be that much more effective for agencies when more of their carriers offer all of the inquiry, change processing, and quoting functionality of Real Time processing making it possible for agencies to employ a consistent workflow with all of their carriers.

Liz Kittell, Marketing Rep for IIANE has written a good summary of some of her favorite sessions on her blog.
