The Missouri Association of Insurance Agents held their 19th Annual Small Agents Conference this past week in Columbia, Missouri.  For the 5th year, the member participation increased to all-time record numbers with over 500 agents, carriers and vendors on hand for the event.

The MAIA Technology Committee continued their tradition of innovative events with the 2nd annual Technology Idea Lab.  The committee is comprised of member agents who provide a display of many new technologies to attendees. “We are very proud of the success of the MAIA Idea Lab, as it gives our members a chance to ask questions and actually learn about how technology works in the more automated agencies in Missouri,” says committee chairman, Randy Baker of T R Baker Agency in Kennett Missouri.

Real Time Eddie was also on hand to encourage agents to implement the vision of “round trip data” from the agency to the company and back to the agency.  Eddie has found himself traveling throughout the United States at State and National Association events.
